Alana is an illustrator from Cape Cod, MA. She has been lucky to have illustrated for Discovery Education, the Paleontological Research Institution, the Critical Zone Observatories, Williams College and Smith College.  In 2017 she illustrated her first children's book, Daring to Dig, followed by Into the Ordovician (2021) and Silurian Journey (2022.) She currently works teaching boat building to teenagers in San Francisco.
